On Tuesday, September 8th, a Kiawah Island Litter Sweep supporting Pam and D. Michael Wilson Plastic-Free Waters will take place from 9 am to 10:30 am. Volunteers will help stop plastic pollution from entering our waterways and landscapes with a safe, socially distanced litter sweep. Interested parties should meet at Mingo Point on Kiawah Island (876 Kiawah Island Pkwy) to pick up sweep supplies, including a mesh bag, reusable gloves, and clipboard/data collection sheet.
